George Fraser

George Fraser

While George’s accomplishments are significant, his beginnings were very humble. He was born in Brooklyn, NY into a family of 11 children (8 boys and 3 girls). When George’s mom became mentally ill, George’s dad, a cab driver, couldn’t care for 11 children so George was orphaned at 3 and spent 14 years in foster homes. Growing up on the streets of New York he had little hope and no expectations.

Although his guidance counselor suggested he drop out of high school, George graduated from high school with a vocational diploma in woodworking because the school system did not consider him college material. Thank God George felt differently…for several years, he mopped floors on the midnight shift at LaGuardia Airport, while he paid his way through college.

George went on to leadership positions with Procter & Gamble, the United Way, and Ford Motor Company.

George has authored three critically acclaimed books: Success Runs In Our Race; The Complete Guide to Effective Networking in the African American Community; Race For Success; The Ten Best Business Opportunities for Blacks In America and the most recent, Click: Ten Truths to Building Extraordinary Relationships.

George is the founder of the annual Power Networking Conference, where thousands of Black professionals, business owners, and community leaders gather to share and transact business with each other.

He is the Chairman and CEO of FraserNET, Inc., a company he founded nearly 25 years ago with the vision to lead a global networking movement that brings together diverse human resources to increase opportunities for people of African descent. He is considered by many to be a new voice for African Americans and one of the foremost authorities on economic development, networking and building effective relationships.

His views have been solicited by media as diverse as CNN and the Wall Street Journal. Over the past decade, the prestigious publication, Vital Speeches of the Day, has selected, reprinted and distributed worldwide, five of George’s speeches--a first for any professional speaker in America.

UPSCALE magazine name him one of the “Top 50 power brokers in Black America”. Black Enterprise Magazine called him “Black America’s #1 Networker” and featured him on a cover issue. Personal growth “guru” Stephen Covey called George Fraser a “masterful teacher.”

TV host and journalist, Tavis Smiley called him a “visionary with the rare combination of leadership and management skills.” George was featured in the New York Times-bestseller, Masters of Networking, along with Secretary, Colin Powell. George has been married to Nora Jean for 35 years. They have two sons, Kyle and Scott.

Kym Yancey

Kym Yancey parlayed his music career as a gold record winning composer, song writer and producer with Capitol records as the drummer and lead singer with the group SUN in the late 70s to early 80s to becoming a creative and marketing powerhouse as the founder of one of the top multicultural advertising agencies in the Midwest called Forest Grove Advertising, where he won over 200 creative awards of excellence.

I met Kym during the heyday of his multi-million dollar advertising agency; with 40 employees. In fact, he was named a finalist for Ernest & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and won Ohio’s Black Businessman of the year. He then co-founded with his wife, Sandra, eWomenNetwork which is recognized as the top women’s business network in North America producing over 2,000 women’s business events annually, including the largest 4-day women’s business conference in North America.

His company has over 500,000 women entrepreneurs connected through 118 chapters spread across the U.S. and Canada. He didn’t stop there either. He is now also a movie producer. His first film The GLOW Project is selling around the world and in my opinion is a must-see movie for every woman and man on the planet. But here is the real deal about Kym, he has personally helped me to grow FraserNET to levels of excellence and success I only had the ability to dream about. Said another way from a strategic advertising, marketing and public relations standpoint, Kym is a friend of over 16 years. Kym has made a huge difference in my business and life. Kym is in my circle of experts and is one of only a few people who are part of my personal network, operational network and strategic network. I could not have picked a better “partner” to lead our Inner Circle² Program.
